Gerald "Jerry" Kapsner, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN, with Fr. Kevin Anderson officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service all at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Caring for Jerry and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.
Jerry was born to the late Al and Gertie Kapsner on September 1, 1940, and raised on the family farm in Lastrup, MN. He married Marilyn Miller on August 17, 1964. They settled on their own farm near Little Falls, MN. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandpa, a man of faith, a member of the KCs, and an excellent farmer who could build and fix anything. He was proud to be named Conservation Farmer of the Year in 1974.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn and their five children, Kevin (Nancy), Todd (Tracey), Wanda Hanlon (Eric), Brad (Becky), Gregg (Lisa); grandchildren, Lexi, Josh, Aria, Zach, Hannah, Sam, Daniel, Genevieve, Grace, Esther, Johann, Talan, Bode, Brekk; and great-granddaughter, Juniper; siblings, Dan (Pat), Maurice (Linda), Gene (Joan), Warren, Lucy (Dave), John (Donna); and sister-in-law, Sue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Gerti, brothers, Gregory and Roland, and sister-in-law, Joyce; along with infant sisters, Beatrice, Maureen, and Mary.
