Gerald “Joe” Joseph Capaldi of Muskegon, Michigan, age 47, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 11, 2022. Joe was born to Philip and Judith (Brandemihl) Capaldi on August 17, 1974, in Livonia, MI. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly twenty-four years, Rebecca Capaldi; adored children, Andrew Capaldi and Megan Capaldi; stepfather, Mark Gould; siblings, Rhiannon (Scott) Dakin, Aron (Maranda) Capaldi, Kimberly and Steve Boyd, and Denise and Brian Short; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Bernie Langlois; his much loved nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family members. Joe was preceded in death by both parents, Marty Capaldi and Judi Gould. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution towards Andrew and Megan’s College Fund, in c/o North Ridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Sparta, MI 49345. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at The Folkert Community Hub, 640 Seminole Road, Muskegon, MI 49441.
