George Taylor Wilson, 84, of St. Paul, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Aperion
Care Waldron.
Born December 16, 1935 in Osceola, Arkansas, he was the son of Lloyd & Louise (Harris) Wilson.
He married Wanda Sue Wilson on March 27, 1967 and she preceded him on June 19, 2007.
Survivors include children- Phyllis Murphy of Indianapolis, Amy (husband Donald) Burton of St. Paul,
Jan (wife Juanita) Land of Indianapolis, Kelly Burton of Shelbyville, Michael (wife Diana) Land of
Glendale, CA, Julie (husband Terry) Cox of English, IN; sister Retha Cole of Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren-
Jayna, Jennifer, Christopher, Nicholas, Haley, Amanda, Susan, Stephanie, Steven, Tj, Amanda, Kristy, David,
Maggie, Krystle and 22 great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers-Jerry
and Gilbert Wilson, sister Margaret and grandson Nigel.
Mr. Wilson had lived in this area since 1991 after moving from Burbank, CA. George was a machinist for
ITT Aerospace, retiring in 1988 and was a member of the St. Paul Kiwanis club for many years.
George loved to travel, go camping, and was known to gamble some in Las Vegas. He lived his
life on the go, one adventure after another.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul, Indiana.
Glenn George Funeral Home, are handling the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul Kiwanis club in care of the funeral home.
