Mr. George F. VanderMolen, age 79, died Monday, March 13, 2006. He was born in Nunica, MI on October 10, 1926 to John & Catherine Theresa (Ellens) VanderMolen & married the former Dorthiea Harris on January 26, 1968, in Spring Lake, MI. Mr. VanderMolen served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed as a maintenance man at Anderson Bolling in Spring Lake for over 39 years until retiring in the late 1980's. Mr. VanderMolen was a past member of Broadway Baptist Church, loved woodworking, crafting toys & all around handyman.
SURVIVORS
2 sons, Seldon Harris of Idaho & David (Susan) VanderMolen of Holland, MI; 2 daughters, Kay VanderMolen of Eau Claire, WI & Kathy (Amir) Pradhan of Tulsa, OK; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rita ( Charles) Ponder of Dearborn, MI & Catherine "Dolly" Goodman of Muskegon; 1 brother, James VanderMolen of Grand Haven; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John "Jack" & Louis VanderMolen.
SERVICE
Thursday, March 16, 2006, 10:30 AM at Clock Chapel- Muskegon with Rev. Jonathan Rager officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery.
