Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel
George E. Stulc, age 77, of Lake Norden, SD, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the local hospital. Public Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Services will be live streamed via our website. We will adhere to all social distancing guidelines during this service. Pastor Michael Wallenmeyer and Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate. Music will be provided by Sue Heavey as organist and soloist. The family is requested to meet at the funeral chapel on Saturday by 9:30 a.m.
Honorary urn bearers will be all of George's nephews, family and friends.
George was born July 24th, 1942, to Joseph and Christine (Kilmer) Stulc in Brainerd, MN. George grew up in the Brainerd area where he attended school. He married Bonnie (Yantzi) on June 26th, 1965, in Brainerd, MN, and then lived in Henry, SD, until moving to the lake home at Lake Poinsett in 2000.
George did factory mobile home repair until he retired about eight years ago. He loved to go fishing and tinker around in his garage. He also spent several mornings with the coffee group at Siouxland at Lake Poinsett.
George is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Lake Norden; his daughters, Kristi Stulc of Badger, SD, and Tammy Stulc of Henry, SD; his son, Kevin (Susan Harms) Stulc of Henry, SD; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald Stulc and Frank Stulc; and one sister, Janette Haggard.
