Devoted husband and father of five children. Survived by children Cynthia (Jay) Breidenbach, Marie Glasgow, Diane Glasgow (Jacob Layer), Sharon (Brian) Geyer; grandchildren Ilsa Breidenbach (Chad Rydjord), Karl Breidenbach (Kelsey Clark), Katrina Breidenbach, Claire Parsons, Russell Hurse, Jacob Layer Jr., Joshua Layer, Tesla Glasgow, Yves Geyer, Gabriel Geyer, Garrett Geyer; brothers John (Phyllis) & Frank (Mimi) Glasgow; sister-in-law Barbara Glasgow. Preceded in death by wives Claire Regina Glasgow & Mary Katherine Glasgow; son Michael Glasgow; brother Clayton Glasgow; sister Marie Stevens Langford. He graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN in 1954. George earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame University in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of 1st Lieutenant in 1961. He earned a Master's of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1969. Thus becoming a life-long Fighting Irish and Buckeye fan! George spent his entire career working for Western Electric/AT&T. Upon retirement, he volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN at a later date.
