Devoted husband and father of five children. Survived by children Cynthia (Jay) Breidenbach, Marie Glasgow, Diane Glasgow (Jacob Layer), Sharon (Brian) Geyer; grandchildren Ilsa Breidenbach (Chad Rydjord), Karl Breidenbach (Kelsey Clark), Katrina Breidenbach, Claire Parsons, Russell Hurse, Jacob Layer Jr., Joshua Layer, Tesla Glasgow, Yves Geyer, Gabriel Geyer, Garrett Geyer; brothers John (Phyllis) & Frank (Mimi) Glasgow; sister-in-law Barbara Glasgow. Preceded in death by wives Claire Regina Glasgow & Mary Katherine Glasgow; son Michael Glasgow; brother Clayton Glasgow; sister Marie Stevens Langford. He graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN in 1954. George earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame University in 1958. He earned a Master's of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1969. Thus becoming a life-long Fighting Irish and Buckeye fan! George spent his entire career working for Western Electric/AT&T. Upon retirement, he volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN at a later date.
