George Arthur Wulbern IV 3 of Charleston, S.C. was welcomed into the arms of his loving parents George Arthur Wulbern III (Tripp) and Cecilia Marie Wulbern (CeCe) on May 18, 2019. He has one younger brother, Carsten Wulbern 1, whom he adored.
George lived his radiant life on James Island. He loved running on the beach and splashing in the waves on Folly Beach, riding on the golf cart and eating ice cream at Sunrise Park and playing on the playgrounds around the neighborhood while showering everyone he met with love and joy. He attended School of O'Quinn on James Island, where he thrived and learned with his friends every day.
He came like a fleeting comet, bursting into life: brillant, uncontained and radiant energy. Brave, sweet George was charismatic, full of infectious energy, always smiling and happy, and completely present and engaged with the people and world around him.
For George, the family asks that everyone attending the visitation or his Mass of Christian Burial, wear something Disney-themed. George's favorite toy was his plush Mickey Mouse.
The family will receive friends between 3:00 and 5:00 PM on Sunday afternoon at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
George's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM, Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Rd. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. Following the burial, the family invites everyone to the home of Tripp and CeCe to continue celebrating George's life. Arrangements by James A. McAlister, Inc. (843) 766-1365.
