Gene Remaklus passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 in hospice after a long battle with Parkinson's and pneumonia. Gene served in the Army National Guard Forces with a specialty as a sharp shooter. He worked for Wean Industries for over thirty years and as a independent insurance and annuity agent for multiple companies for twenty five years. He was a good man, husband and father that loved the Lord. He shared his testimony with over thirty thousand people who crossed his path. Always willing to help someone in need and would have given the shirt off of his back to make someone comfortable. He is now in heaven reuniting with loved ones, friends and all of the animals he loved so much. He leaves his wife, Judy (nee Gombos) of fifty six years; daughter, Jodi; son, Greg; sister, Kathy and their extended families. Friends may call from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd , Akron. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Chaplain Dennis Chaney officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
