Gayla Lavay Hansen Hill

Hill, Gayla LaVay (Hansen), age 88, Passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Orting Washington where she had been residing for the last 29 years.

Gayla is originally from Logan, UT where she graduated from Utah State University, and went on to enjoy a rewarding teaching career. Gayla is survived by her three children, Wendy Joy, Michael Charles, and Jennifer Susanne, as well as three grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, and a sister in law.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday January 7th, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Nelson's Funeral Home in Logan, Utah. 162 E. 400 N., Logan, UT 84321. Graveside services to follow at Logan City Cemetery.
