Gary Lee Penner, 72, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on his birthday, March 26, 2025, in his home with his loving family by his side. He was born March 26, 1953, in Carlisle to the late Claire Lee and Esther Mae (Keck) Penner.
Gary was a Carlisle High School graduate class of 1972 and then worked as a truck driver and retired from O Malleyundefineds Pallet Factory in Adams County. He had a strong love for animals, especially his cat, Tabby and was a huge Vikings Football Fan. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed taking long bike rides and watching Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctioneers. Gary was an avid poker player and loved playing with his longtime friends.
Surviving is his brother, Denny Penner of Charleston, SC; niece, Shana Strohecker (Russ) of Carlisle; and great nieces and nephew, Victoria, Jenna, and Isaiah; and great great nephew, Zavieghn.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with officiating.
