81, of Honolulu, passed peacefully at home on January 29, 2024. Gary was predeceased by his parents Kageyoshi and Sadako Koja, and his brother Richard Koja. He is survived by his son, Spencer Koja, and his grandsons Hudson and Mason Koja of New York, and daughter Jaedine Koja. Gary is also survived by sisters Nancy Hanaoka (Clifton) and Carol Feig; step-mother Tsuru Koja; brother Edwin (Sona); sister Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary also leaves behind companion Suemi.
Private services for family was held earlier.
