Gary David Gaudette, 55, of Enfield, NH passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his home. He was born April 10, 1963 in Lowell, MA to Barbara Marie (Kelley) and David Gaudette, one of their five children. Gary graduated from Pelham High School. He earned his B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Marketing at Franklin Pierce before earning his M.B.A. On October 18, 1986 Gary married Barbara Jean Pigott in Malden, MA.
Gary played hockey since childhood and on Saturday and Sunday mornings you could find him playing here with his team. He also played tennis in high school. He and Barb held season tickets at NHMS and went to many NASCAR races. He loved quality performance cars and BMWs, and he was a fine wine connoisseur. Barb and Gary traveled the World, taking cruises on the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas. He also loved music, especially classic rock and the blues.
Gary dedicated his time to the town of Enfield, NH, serving the Enfield Village Association as Treasurer, Mascoma Lake Association as Treasurer, the Conservation Commission, and the Town of Enfield Capital Improvement Committee.
Gary was an Associate Owner of Hypertherm for over sixteen years, his professional role was Senior Treasury Analyst on the Financial Services Team. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Credit Management, and also led them as Chair. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Association of Credit and International Business. In 2014, Gary was honored with one of NACM's highest honors, the O.D. Glaus Credit Executive of Distinction Award. Gary was honored this Fall for his service to the community with the United Way Volunteer of the Year. To honor him the HOPE (Hypertherm Owners' Philanthropic Endeavors) Foundation has created the "Gary Gaudette Exemplary Service Award" to recognize someone who exhibits the distinguished character traits so clearly observed in the way Gary lived his life.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, four siblings, and many associates and friends who will remember the big heart, can do attitude, and positive spirit he brought to those around him.
