Gary Dean Dankert, 82, of Davenport, formerly of Muscatine, IA, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, in Moline at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Gary was born April 15, 1940, in Muscatine, IA, the son of Fern V. Sharp and Earl L. Dankert. Gary moved to Florida and later returned to Davenport to be closer to his family. He loved watching all types of sporting events.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Dankert; sons, Joe and Jason Dankert, 7 grandkids and 1 great-grandson.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother and father Fern V (Sharp) and Earl L Dankert and brother, Randall.
