Garry Edward Curtright, of Bartlett, TN., passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Herrin, IL.
Garry worked as an Assistant Manager for Walmart in Tennessee and was formerly an Assistant Manager at Toys-R-Us.
Garry was born December 4, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to Melvin Curtright and Bess (Brimhall) Matlock.
Garry married Mary Garrett on March 3, 1973 in Memphis, TN. She survives him in Bartlett, TN.
He is also survived by his mother, Bess Matlock of Herrin, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Robin & Jim Greeney of Herrin, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Nichalas & Rebecca Curtright of Palm Springs, CA; daughter-in-law, Jenny Curtright of Lakeland, TN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father; daughter, Rhonda Jo Triplett; son, Lance Curtright; and 2 brothers, Larry Curtright and Ronnie Curtright.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin, IL with Rev. Don Colson officiating Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
