Fidler Frame Funeral Home
89, of Blount passed away October 18, 2024 at home.
He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic, a United States Marine Corps. veteran of the Korean War and a Christian.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy Flowers; son, Arthur Garland Flowers; daughter, Sondra Lynn Flowers; brothers, Steven and Paul Flowers; sister, Patsy Taylor and parents, Garland Sr. and Grace Snodgrass Flowers.
Surviving are his sons, Roy Eugene Flowers of Blount, Matthew Peter Flowers (Jennifer) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Luke Darrell Flowers (Donna) of Naperville, Illinois; daughters, Debbie Jean Burkett (Kris) of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Inger Elaine Christensen (John) of West Palm Beach, Florida; brother, Harlan Flowers of Glendale Heights, Illinois; sister, Daisy Mae Carte of Blount; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., noon, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Dr. Charles Bright officiating. Internment will follow in Collins Cemetery, Tad. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
