Gail Laura Seaman
"Beloved wife, mother and grandmother"
Gail Laura (Butler) Seaman, 76, of Southington was called home to her Lord on August 5, 2022, surrounded at home by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Seaman.
Gail was born September 7, 1945 in Waterbury, youngest daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Parker) Butler. She grew up in Thomaston and Wolcott and was a graduate of Wolcott High School. Gail worked at Stop & Shop for over 28 years, retiring in 2001. She was a long-time member of The Tabernacle Church of Southington, loved baking and crafts and was an avid animal lover. Gail's greatest joys were time with family and friends, her years living in Clarkdale AZ, her Grand Canyon rafting trip and RVing the country with Bob. Gail will be remembered for being the coolest mom in the neighborhood, her witty sense of humor and being kind to every person and creature she met.
Besides her husband of 22 years, Gail leaves to honor and cherish her memory her son Jason Cargill and his wife Sophie, daughter Dana Stango, stepson Robert F. Seaman, all of Wolcott, stepdaughter Laurie Ben-Haim and her companion Gilad Levy of Tel Aviv. She also leaves her grandchildren Xander, Audrey and Teddy, in-laws Les and Dottie Cook of Houston, TX, honorary daughter Terry Aubertin of Thomaston, many nephews and nieces, friends and her adored cat Allie. She was predeceased by two sisters Joan Oris and Joyce Lafferty.
