Mrs. Gail Moseley Roberts, 72, of Plywood Street in Hampton died Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Roberts was born July 27, 1947 in Newington, Georgia, a daughter of the late Hugh and Annie Lou Anderson Hodges. She had been a caregiver in the Hampton Community for many years and was a member of the Spirit of Life and West End Baptist Church. She was the widow of Herbert Roberts and James A. "Billy" Moseley, Sr.
Surviving are her son: Michael Moseley and wife Tina of Hampton; daughter: Kimberly Martinez of Hampton; step-daughter: Megan Barlett of Hampton; brothers: Edward and Carl Hodges of Newington, Georgia; sisters: Hazel Lee of Statesboro, Georgia and Flori Bazemore of Sylvania, Georgia; grandchildren: Jay Moseley, Tiffany Moseley, Halie Martinez, James Martinez and Collin Harter; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Roberts was predeceased by her parents; a son, James A. Moseley, Jr.; brothers: James and Pete Hodges; and a sister, Grace Hodges.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday in the Spirit of Life Church in Varnville conducted by Rev. David Schaffer with burial in the Bowers Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
Visitation will begin Sunday at 2 PM prior to the service at the Church.
