Gail Maggi Pannill , 61 Nov 12, 1959 - Jun 24, 2021 Sharpsburg, Maryland-Gail Maggi Pannill, 61 of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Thursday June 24,2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
Born November 12,1959 in Rapid City, SD, she was the daughter of the late William St John and Ann Joan Moriarty Maggi.
She received her LPN from James Rumsey Technical Institute in Hedgesville, WV and her RN with Associates Degree from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. She worked as an RN for Maxim Healthcare Services in Frederick, MD and was previously employed as a nursing instructor at Hagerstown Community College and worked as an RN at Shenandoah Community Health Center. She also worked as a nurse at various festivals and events.
Gail was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church in Williamsport, MD where she sang in the choir. She also performed with the Hagerstown Choral Arts. Gail loved being at the beach, reading, family gatherings, traveling and her cats.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Philip D. Pannill, a son Michael J. Pannill and his wife Jennifer of Hagerstown, MD, a daughter Kelly M. Pannill-Perkins and her husband Charles of Charles Town, WV, granddaughters Taylor Perkins, Conner Perkins and Kyle Perkins, great grandchildren Paislee Orem and Jaxson Orem, a brother Chris Maggi, Sr. and his wife Kim of Waldorf, MD and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother William Maggi, II and sisters Ann Maggi and Shannon Maggi.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 10,2021 at 11:00am at Williamsport United Methodist Church 25 E. Church St. Williamsport, MD 21795 with Rev. Ray Roberson officiating.
There will be no viewing and burial is private.
