We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved, Fred “Freddie” Phillip Fraijo.
Fred was born on September 19, 1947, in Fresno, California, and passed away in his home on April 25, 2023, in Fresno, California, at the age of seventy-five. He was a loving person that spread joy and happiness wherever he went. Fred served in the Army for four years, was stationed in Germany, and was a member of the American Legion Post 509 Fresno, CA.
Fred was predeceased by his infant brother Gabriel, his father Fred P. Fraijo, and his mother Jennie G. Fraijo. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Mary Fraijo, daughters Elizabeth Esqueda and her husband Eddie, and Kim Fraijo, stepdaughter Christine Munoz, siblings Olivia Fraijo, Pearl Fraijo, Daniel Fraijo and his wife Rachel, Bernard Fraijo and his wife Norma, Diana Johnson and her husband Greg, Gabriel Fraijo, Crystal Esparza and her husband Kenny, and Jeremie “Jerry” Fraijo and his wife Anitra, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church (2219 N. Orchard St., Fresno, Ca.) on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:30 am, followed by a graveside service at the Clovis Cemetery (305 N. Villa Ave. Clovis, CA). We welcome all to attend a celebration of Fred’s wonderful life at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church Hall, following the graveside service.
