Mr. Fred Terry Ennis, 64, of Gloverville, SC, husband of forty-four years to Theresa Smith Ennis, laid down his working tools on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the comfort of his home and entered that great celestial lodge above.
A lifelong area resident and a 1978 graduate of LBC High School, Fred was a son of Pat Weathersbee Guglieri (the late Paul) and the late Fred Pierce Ennis. At the time of his death, Fred was employed by Zeus in Quality Control and had formerly been employed by Georgia Pacific and Solvay Specialty Polymers. He was a member of Langley Bible Church. Brother Fred was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in Horse Creek Masonic Lodge, #174, A.F.M. and was recently recognized for his forty years of service.
Fred loved all genres of music, from Gospel to Hair Metal. He was an avid Gamecock fan and loved animals, especially his cats. He enjoyed cars and playing the guitar and drums. More than anything, however, he enjoyed being with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his beloved and only child, the late Benjamin Ennis, siblings, Paul Guglieri and Cindy Kent and her husband, Johnny, sister-in-law, Veronica Honeck and her husband, Robert, as well as several, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Gene Brown will officiate. Interment with Masonic Rites accorded by the brethren of Horse Creek Masonic Lodge, will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Kip Smith, Rob Crockett, Tony Prosser, Gary Herndon, Tony Nappier and Milton Maroney. Honorary pallbearers will be Iradell Goodwin, Steve Fields, Jason Fields, Jessica Moody, Joshua Moody, Crystal Moody, Zachary Moody, Haley Moody, Terri Moody, Ian Moody, Irie Guglieri, Aubreigh Buckingham, and Greenlie Moody.
