Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel
Ms. Frankie Mae Johnson Stewart, age 83, of Lindale, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at a local nursing home.
Ms. Stewart was born in Rome, GA, on September 21, 1941, daughter of the late Frank Johnson and the late Frances Hale Johnson. She was also preceded in death by 4 siblings, Ara Brown, Ruth Silvers, James Johnson, and Franklin Johnson, and by 3 grandchildren, Adam Cagle, T.J. Harcourt and Misty Puckett. Ms. Stewart graduated from Dalton High School. She retired from Integrated Products after working as a machine operator for over 40 years. Ms. Stewart loved her family above all. She was always going above and beyond for them, especially when it came to food. Ms. Stewart loved cooking and any time she could feed her kids and grandkids she jumped on the opportunity. She was of the Baptist faith and is now in the presence of her Savior for eternity.
Survivors include her 5 children, Jackie Paige (Terry), Lindale, Jerry Harcourt, Silver Creek, Terry Harcourt (Wendy), Rockmart, Gwen Cagle, Rome, and Ruby Brownlow (Dale), Centre, AL; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with her son-in-law, Terry Paige, officiating the service. Private interment will take place in Floyd Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time on Wednesday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
