Frank John Rickinger III
Lover of life. Family man. Our hero.
On September 19, 2018, the most incredible man gained his wings. Frank served his country in the Korean War as a member of the United States Army. He also worked for many years as a butcher and at his request is being buried in his butcher jacket, name tag, black tie, and black pants.
He was the beloved husband of Judy (Judith Zurawski). He was the loving father of Lisa (David) Hoehne and John (Laura) Rickinger. Proud grandfather of Sonja (Timothy) Liston, Rachel Rickinger, and John Scott (Jennifer) Rickinger. He was also the devoted Great Papa of Samuel Liston, Erin Rickinger, and Rianne Rickinger.
Frank was proceeded in death by his parents as well as friends and family.
He is missed and loved more than words can ever convey, but he is now woodworking in the sky and enjoying an eternal life free of the struggles that burdened him here on Earth.
Funeral Services 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes with Military Honors to follow.
Visitation Tuesday from 12 Noon until the time of services.
