Frank McNallyApril 11, 1947 - June 21, 2022Francis William McNally of Mariposa, CA passed away after a short illness on June 21, 2022 at the age of 75.Frank was born on April 11,1947, in Stockton, CA. He was the second of 9 children. His education started at Annunciation Catholic school, in Stockton where he graduated from 8th grade in June of 1961. He graduated from St Anthony's Seminary in Santa Barbara, June of 1965 receiving his high school diploma. Frank moved on to San Joaquin Delta College for two years and then was accepted to the University of California Berkeley graduating in 1969. Frank then proceeded to the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1972.Frank quickly began practicing Law for the San Joaquin County District Attorney's office. In 1990 Frank moved to Mariposa, CA. He worked for the Mariposa County District Attorney's Office. He had a short time where he worked for Butte County and Stanislaus County. He continued to practice law with Mariposa County until he retired in 2017.Frank was blessed with a loving family. He welcomed three daughters with his wife at the time Alice McNally (Herrmann). Years later he met and married Kay Miller which expanded his family by two sons.Frank loved music of all kinds, was an avid Dr. WHO fan. He loved all things outdoors and traveling. He was both a dedicated Father and Grandfather. He has taught them all the importance of family, good health, faith and living a life of gratitude.He is preceded in death by his father, John T. McNally, MD, mother, Barbara A. McNally, his brothers, Terrence McNally and James McNally and his wife Kay McNally.Frank is survived by his three daughters Katy Davis, Maureen Hudson and Theresa Holzer. His two step sons Quinn Miller and Drew Miller. His Grandkids Ethan, William, Faith and Hope Hudson and Colin Holzer. His Son-in-Laws Craig Davis, Derek Hudson and Justin Holzer and Daughter-in-Law Rebecca Miller, his long- time companion Karen Bergman, His Siblings Martha McNally, Michael McNally, Mary McNally, Thomas McNally, Barbara Atilano and Steven McNally.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 21, 2022 at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Mariposa CA. Rosary at 11:30am Funeral 12:30 pm. Reception to follow.There will be a graveside service July 22, 2022 at the Catholic Cemetery in Stockton, CA at 11:00am. Reception to follow.
