Upon graduation from Sparrows Point High School in 1960, Frank started his working career in management with the F.W. Woolworth Co. Then a few years later at the competing five and dime store McCrory's, where he and Carol found each other by way of their shared love for music in the record department.
After his marriage to Carol in 1964, Frank began working at Seagram's Distillery until 1990 when the property closed. Through the years, Frank and his late wife Carol were the owners and operators of "Out of the Past" antique store in Essex, MD. Eventually, Frank retired in 1996 from Carling-National Brewery/Heileman Brewing Co. in addition to his position as a security guard with Giant Foods.
