While living in Powder Springs on a 10 acre farm with dogs, cows, and a cat, Joe enjoyed growing tomatoes for canning and Jerri's wonderful spaghetti sauce. Once the acreage became too much to mow, Joe and Jerri moved to a condominium community in Marietta where they made many friends.
Joe and Jerri had a good life. Over the years they adopted many pets from the Humane Society. They enjoyed travel. Their favorite places were Alaska and the Galapagos Islands. Joe also loved camping, boating, and bike riding in Holland, Michigan. In his thirties he enjoyed running M/C enduros.
Joe was an honest, trustful, and compassionate man. He was interested in everyone and everything. He loved asking questions and solving problems. Joe was a loyal and wonderful husband. He was proud to be a Rotarian in Powder Springs!
