Frank Wendel Bevers, age 94, a native of Kurtz, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana passed from this life to glory on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown, Indiana. He was born on April 24, 1927 to the late Ralph Bevers and the late Letitia (Maynard) Bevers.
Frank was a lifelong faithful member of the Clear Spring Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and part of a gospel singing group this ministered not only in church but nursing homes. He will forever be remembered as a laid back, easy going man that loved a good joke and loved life. He was a God fearing man that was an example of what being Christ like really was. The Apostle Paul declared in II Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." Frank adored his beloved wife of 66 years, Rosemary and lived for her smile and making her happy. Together they loved fishing and spending time together. Once again they are together on the sunny banks of Jordan.
Frank is survived by his two sons, Timothy Bevers of Seymour, Indiana and Matthew Bevers and his significant other Tresa Scott of Freetown, Indiana. Two daughters, Brenda Kay Jackson and her significant other Gary Jackson of Seymour Indiana and Lisa Ann Bevers of Seymour, Indiana. One sister, Vivian "Sis" Bevers of Ohio. Three grandchildren, Wendy Jackson, Eric Jackson and his wife Bethany and Monika Thoele and her husband Brooks all of Seymour, Indiana. Three great grandchildren, Braden Jackson, Olivia Thoele and Lincoln Thoele.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, three brothers, Rex Bevers, Carl Bevers and John Bevers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Clear Spring Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at the church. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Clear Spring Cemetery.
