Francis Repko of Windham, NH (formerly of Litchfield, NH passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2020. Francis just three days shy of his 100th birthday.
Francis was a first-class radioman for the US Navy serving in the South Pacific during WWII. He went on to work in civil service and aerospace. He worked for Ford Aerospace tracking stations in Guam, Thule, Greenland, and the Seychelle Islands. Francis retired as a station manager for the tracking station in New Boston, NH in 1986. After retirement, Francis enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was an avid ham radio operator. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His passion was his family.
In addition to his parents and siblings, he was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Rita. Francis is lovingly remembered by his son, Terry Repko and his wife Linda Nogle, daughter Donna Supino and her husband Andrew, and son Jeffrey Repko. He also leaves behind two grandsons, Craig Repko and his wife Tracy, Michael Repko and his wife Kendrick, and granddaughter, Kate Leger and her husband Daniel. Francis will be missed by his great grandchildren, loving extended family, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 11AM-12:30PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
