Francis X. Ball, 93 of Naples, FL passed away on July 2, 2022 at home. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He graduated from Trine University formerly Tri State University in Angola, Indiana in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
He founded F.X. Ball Associates, a consulting engineer company in Schwenksville, PA. He served as President of the firm until his retirement in 1995.
He was certified as a Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Jersey, and Kentucky. He was a registered land surveyor in Pennsylvania and Indiana.
Francis was preceded in death by his son, Francis J. Ball; he is survived by his wife, Mary G. Ball (Noonan); sister, Jenny Ball; Daughter-in-law, Jill A. McCormick Ball; grandchildren, Angela L. Ball, Francis J.X. Ball (Jessica), and Bryanna N. Ball; and great grandchildren, Xavier, Lauren, and Avalon.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. William Catholic Church on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00AM with interment to follow at Naples Memorial Gardens.
