Frances Patricia "Pat" Skillman, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born in Suffolk, Virginia, on January 30, 1938. She was a loving, devoted wife to her husband James Skillman of forty-seven years. She was pre-deceased by her parents Dan and Louise Holly and her brother Jimmy Holly. She is survived by her brother Dan (Betty) Holly Jr., and her sister-in-law Peggy Holly. She was a caring and compassionate mother of five children: Yvonne (Ray) Johnson, Tammy (Copeland) Wasson, Teresa (Ross Kinsey) Buck, Anthony (Lisa) Copeland and James Skillman, Jr. Pat was a grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and a great-grandmother to twenty great-grandchildren. She was a wife, mother and grandmother who had a heart for Jesus. She was a friend who was kind, caring and compassionate who volunteered at San Pablo Elementary School and Sonrise Worship Center in Atlantic Beach.
Pat's graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery Lane #2, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Pastor Jerry Curtis officiating.
