JAMES DYAL FUNERAL HOME
Frances Myers Rudd (Maxine), 77, wife of the late James Allen Rudd passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
The family will receive friends at James A. Dyal Funeral Home from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock on Thursday, May 11th. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12th at 10 o'clock at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road Summerville, SC 29485. Mrs. Rudd was born on February 27, 1946, in Ridgeville to the late Lewis and Nadine Myers. Mrs. Rudd started her career in the Charleston Naval Shipyard and retired from SPAWAR after 51 years of total service. Her true passion was gardening, shopping for and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Survivors include one son; James Allen "Jamie" Rudd, II and his wife, Erica of Ridgeville, five grandchildren; Brittany, Grace, and Haley Rudd of St. George, and Jay and Owen Rudd of Ridgeville; one great-grandchild, Jaxson Childers; two sisters; Nell Mayo and Rosanne Hill of Ridgeville.
