Frann Richardson 104 of Nampa passed away peacefully at a Nampa care center on April 5, 2022.
A recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday April 7th 6:00pm, Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave S in Nampa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday April 8th 1:30pm, St. Paul's Catholic Church, 510 W. Roosevelt St. in Nampa. Interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell following the mass. Services are under the direction of Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel, 208-442-8171. Frann was born February 20, 1918, Bridgeport, NB. She was the third oldest of nine children. Frann graduated from St. Mary's High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She moved to Idaho with her family in the late 1930s. She met her husband Cecil in Nampa and
they married in 1943. They lived and farmed in Nampa from 1943 to 1981. Frann was a wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked at a waitress and cook in the Red Rose Cafe in Nampa in the1940s. She also worked retail for Penney's and the Idaho Department Store in the 1950s and 1960s. Frann was a member and President of the Beta Sigma Phi Nampa Chapter in the 1950s and 1960s. She worked as a Ward Clerk in 1968 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1984.
She dearly loved her family and is survived by her sons and daughters Cecelia Benoit, Debra (Butch) Ragsdale, Richard (Nina) Scott, Monte (Cindy) Richardson.
Grandchildren: Pamela (Lorenzo)Salas, Deanna (Don) Winfrey, Frances (Ray)Vance, Edward Scott, Angela Tarver, Michelle Caddell, Joseph Scott, Sean (Marge) Richardson, Misty Richardson and Tera (Rory) Frantz. She has 16 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, Son-in-Law Melvin, Granddaughter Anaka, her brothers, Bob, Jack, Edward, Pat, and Bud, her sisters Barbara, Tutye, and Mary Ellen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity.
