Frances Marion Huling Dickson passed away on March 2, 2021 in Midland, Texas. She was born on December 2, 1924 on her grandfather's farm in Blair, Oklahoma. Her parents were Jesse Lee Huling and Olga Faye Cochran Huling. She lived in Blair until she married Myron Grady Dickson who preceded her in death. Frances and Myron married on March 14, 1943 in Blair, Oklahoma. While Myron served in the Navy during World War Il, Frances lived with her parents in San Angelo, Texas. After Myron's graduation from the University of Oklahoma, they moved to Midland, TX. In 1949 where she lived until her death.
Frances' main ambition in life was to be the best wife, mother and homemaker she could be. She loved children and had a passion for teaching 4 year olds about Jesus in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church for over 40 years where she faithfully attended. One of Frances' biggest blessings were the years, during the 1980s, when she and Myron started an apartment ministry teaching residents, both children and adults about Jesus. From 1968-1982, Frances worked for Great Western Drilling Company. During her later years, she greatly enjoyed her Women's Sunday School class and social activities with her many friends. Moving to Manor Park in 2008 blessed her with many new friends she loved dearly. Her gentle and caring disposition along with an especially cute since of humor brought her many new friends to share her faith and love of Jesus throughout her life.
Most of all, Frances cherished her three daughters, eight grandsons, and 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron, her parents and a sister, Joy Beth Bevins and a brother Max Huling.
