We are saddened to announce the death of longtime Patterson resident Francell Boles Hamlett.
Born in Winnsboro, TX to H.L "Cooter" Boles & Maurice Sparks Boles; the 4th of 6th children, she loved to credit her "middle child status" for her toughness and independence. Lovingly referred to as "Nub" by her father, a nickname that stuck and was used by those who loved her. She grew up on a farm where she learned life lessons about hard work and dependability, which helped her during a 25+ year career with the US Postal Service.
A lover of nature, history, and reading; she was always looking for new projects and adventures. As a proud daughter of Texas, she was honored to be recognized as "one of those Boles kids from Old Glory". She will always be remembered as a talented painter and 5-star cook of desserts & Southern Dishes.
She is survived by her 3 Sons; Jariett and wife Shannon of Rockwall, TX; Jacob and wife Stephanie of Glasgow, MT; and Joshua and wife Beth also of Glasgow, MT; seven grandchildren, four siblings, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. July 2, 2022, in Rule, TX. The family asks that in lieu flowers you donate to the American Lung Association.
