Foster Colvin Jr. passed away unexpectedly November 13, 2024. Foster was born in Rutland VT on 8/31/1958 to Foster Colvin Sr and Nella Wallace. He attended Sunderland School and graduated from Arlington Memorial High School. He was employed as an electrician for Tyler Electric, Dees Electric and Omega Electric. Foster fought and won against stage 4 cancer and survived the tragic passing of his granddaughter Britney. A native Vermonter Foster traveled throughout the US but always came back to his home state of Vermont. Always up for a good time and offering a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was an avid hunter, and always spent deer hunting with his close friends Punky, Jeremy and others at camp one of his favorite spots. He was a true friend, wonderful brother, fun Uncle and devoted to all he considered friends and family. He leaves behind his sisters and brother-Gladys and Don Blockburger, Perky and Tom Gaiotti, Robin and Alan Mowrey, Jimmie and Julie Colvin Many nieces, nephews and his beloved partner Terri. He became a deeply cherished member of the family. He found immense joy in his role as grandpa to Zayn and Torin whom Foster adored and taught his love of the outdoors. He loved spending time with the Wilkins-Thomas family who opened their homes and their hearts to Foster. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his love of life and his big personality. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Wally, and his precious granddaughter Britney Rose. Visiting hours will be held Sunday November 24, 2024 from 4-6pm at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be private.
