Foon (Chen) Yee, 99, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved one's on July 12, 2024 at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Soon Dak, China on February 24, 1925.
She was an active member of the Yee Family Association.
Along with her husband, she was also a devoted associate of Dragon Gate Restaurant.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Yee Sr. on May 19, 1993 and her stepson, Gin Hang Yee.
Family members include her son; Henry Yee Jr. and his wife Laurie of Hooksett, NH, her daughter; Lily Smith of Tolland, CT., daughter in law, Mei Jen Yee of Quincy, MA., grandchildren; Maxwell Yee of Pembroke, NH, Jeremy Yee of Tampa FL., Amy Yee of Chester, NH, Stephanie Smith, DMD, of Scottsdale, AZ., Jordan Smith of Highland Falls, NY., Kimberly Wong and her husband, Daniel of Canton, MA., Soo Sam Ho of E. Walpole, MA., Steve Yee and his wife, Christina of Medford, MA., William Yee and his wife, Helen of Westboro, MA., several great grandchildren, and one sister, Chan Suet Siu of Hong Kong, China.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A private burial service will take place at the convenience of the family.
