Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel
Mr. Floyd D. Rayburn, age 80, of Silver Creek, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Rayburn was born in Rome, Georgia on May 15, 1944, son of the late James Floyd Rayburn and the late Frances Elizabeth Bridges Johnson. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Prior to retirement, Mr. Rayburn was a truck driver for Southeastern Mills for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Allen; two granddaughters, Miranda Allen and Megan Allen; a great granddaughter, Kaydence "G" Allen; two brothers, James Clarence Rayburn and Jeffery Rayburn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Terry Addis officiating. Following the service, Mr. Rayburn will be cremated according to his wishes.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday from 2pm until the service time.
