Fletcher William Pratt of Dover, born January 30, 1982, in Chestertown, Maryland, died suddenly Sunday, November 27, 2022.
Fletcher graduated from Caesar Rodney High School class of 2000. He worked his whole life as a carpenter and became a master of his craft. He loved working for Lundburg Builders of Stevensville, Maryland and Mike Bowers of Marydel, Maryland.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish wherever he could, and hunt on the family farm in Millington, Maryland. Most of all he loved his children and taught them to appreciate the wonders of nature.
Friends say he had a heart-of-gold and liked helping people when he could.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl C. Coventry of Goldsboro, Maryland, his grandfather Jay Fletcher Pratt of Millington, Maryland and grandmother, Henrietta Pratt of Millington, Maryland
He is survived by his precious children, Fiona Willow Pratt age 9 and Finnian Wolfgang Pratt age 8 and their mother, Daphne M. Sawyer of Felton. Fletcher is also survived by his sister, Rachel N. Birt of Camden and brother, Jonah J. Pratt of Philadelphia, PA; grandmother, Frances E. Haley of Dover; his father, Robin J. Pratt of Dover and mother, Robin Coventry of Dover.
