Felicitas "Fela" Jarmillo

Felicitas "Fela" Jaramillo, 80, of Texas City, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born November 23, 1944, in Mezquites Grandes S.L.P, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents Ciriaco and Romula Nieto.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Magdaleno P. Jaramillo, two sons Venancio "Benny" Jaramillo and wife Rene, and Magdaleno "Mag" Jaramillo and wife Anabell, brother Hipolito Nieto, sisters Elodia (Sonny) Salazar, Maria (Arthur) Wagner, and Guadalupe (Stephen) Stauffer, grandchildren Vanessa (Greg) Maskell, Venancio "Damon" (Pamela) Jaramillo, Brianna Rose Jaramillo, Magdaleno "Zachary" Jaramillo, and great grandchildren Carmen, Sean, and Allan Maskell. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, in Texas City, with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque, TX with burial following at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.

Pallbearers will be Hipolito Nieto, Axl Salazar, Damon Jaramillo, Ray LaSoya, Jamie Nieto, and Phillip Salazar.
