Emily Faye Pierce Fredericks, 82, widow of Joe L Blease Fredericks, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lillie Mae Morris Pierce. Mrs. Fredericks enjoyed making shoe boxes every Christmas for Operation Christmas Child. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1949.
Survivors include her children, Rev. Danny Fredericks (Sheila) of Belton, Mark Fredericks (Kelly), Tim Fredericks (Tessa) all of Anderson, and Janet Lester (Lee) of Inman; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Osborne; and brother, Allen Pierce.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Dean Fredericks and David Lee Fredericks; and two brothers, Harvey Pierce and James Pierce.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Danny Fredericks and Layman Barry Osborne. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the mortuary. The family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Judah Church, c/o Operation Christmas Child, 640 Hembree Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
