Faith Nicholson

Faith Nicholson, 85, of Evansville passed away on December 23, 2024. She was born in Vincennes, IN on May 29, 1939, to the late Norman and Lois (Richards) Arterburn. She attended Vincennes University and Indiana University. She worked for several years as a hostess for Bob Evans. Faith was an avid fan of IU basketball and football along with the Indianapolis Colts. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting blankets, growing roses and plants, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Faith is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Lois Arterburn; infant sister Joyce Arterburn; son Christopher Nicholson; granddaughter Annalise Rose Nicholson; siblings Joan Arterburn-Walker and Linda Ridgley; step-mother Loretta Holl.

She is survived by her children Richard and his wife Rhonda Nicholson of Fort Wayne, Lisa Erdosy of Fishers, Jana Nicholson of Evansville, Jon and his wife Cindi Nicholson of Evansville, daughter in law Cindy Nicholson; grandchildren Brad Nicholson, Jacob Nicholson, Matthew Erdosy, Nicholas Erdosy, Natalie Nicholson, Lilli Smith, and nieces and nephews.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Nicholson. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at 524 Broadway St. from 11 am to service time. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
