Ezekiel "EZ" Martinez came into this earth on December 21, 1993 and passed from this life August 29, 2021. He was a happy, fun loving young man who was a kid at heart. He enjoyed playing video games and watching the Texans on his always latest and greatest large flat screen TV. He enjoyed time with his friends and was always ready to compete with board games at family gatherings. Though he had no children of his own, he doted on his little nieces, nephew, and cousins. He was never too tired for piggyback rides or a good wrestling match, and they could always count on him for a good time. Ezekiel was quite accomplished and determined. He purchased his first home at the ripe age of 21 and was always ready for a new challenge. He loved to sing and what a voice he had! One of his hidden talents was being able to give the best massages in which his family always tried to persuade him to make a career of it. Ezekiel was compassionate and affectionate. His happy demeanor and smile were contagious, and you couldn't help but feel better when you were around him. He loved with his whole heart. Those who knew him are better for it, and he will be immensely missed. Forever our little hero.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Alex Martinez Sr., mother, Barbara Martinez; brother, Alex Martinez Jr. (Yvonne Martinez), sister, Irene Cutshall (Brandon Cutshall); nieces and nephew, Faith Martinez, Aden Cutshall, Maddie Cutshall, and Rosie Cutshall; grandparents, Rudy and Dolores Sanchez, Toni Etheridge and Carl Meredith, and Pete and Diana Martinez; aunts, Victoria Sanchez, April Rocha (Marcus Rocha), Kristal Garcia (Chris Garcia); uncles, Rudy Sanchez Jr. (Mireya Sanchez), and Joe Eric Martinez (Patti Martinez); and close friends Matt Pummill, Rian Gonzalez, Simon Juarez, David Barraza, Jaime, and Jorge Lujan.
