Richard "Rich" Gale Cook, 89, of Cleveland TN, passed away peacefully on March 22. 2023 in his home surrounded by family. Rich was born on November 27, 1933 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, to the parents of Elfreda and John Cook. After graduating from Bridgeport High School, in 1951, Rich worked in the family restaurant at "Cook's Confectionary" and later at Standard Oil Refinery in Chicago, Illinois. Rich joined the United States Air Force in 1953 and served his country for 20 years, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
