Arthur Ronald Brown, 63 of Central Lake, passed away December 24, 2020 at his home in Central Lake. Arthur was born May 9, 1957 in Port Huron, MI to Arthur R. Brown and Lola A. Lashbrook. Arthur owned and operated Torch Tip Iron Works in Central Lake for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, snowmobiling and downhill skiing, and boating. Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Redford High School. A proud Army veteran, she served as Sargent WAC from August 1944 to June 1948. Graduating from Wayne State University in 1951 with a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, she worked as an occupational therapist at Grace Hospital, in Sault Ste. Marie, Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay and Pontiac Public Schools before later returning to work as a secretary for University of Michigan School of Social Work. On November 23, 1957 Ann married Clifford Page at the First Presbyterian Church of South Lyon, Michigan, for whom she was an active member serving as historian and treasurer. Mervin Falor, 87, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at a local care center. Mervin was born October 24, 1932 in Manton, MI, the son of John and Eunice (Salisbury) Falor. He attended Cadillac High School and graduated from Donsbach University in California. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. He was employed as a Machine repairman at General Motors in Kalamazoo, MI. for over 26 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Iglesia Adventista Del Deptimo Dia Seventh-day Adventist Church.
