She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; daughter, Bridget Cahill-McDonald; son, Patrick Cahill; and granddaughter, Nora Rose. The family will received friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. A funeral mass was held at the Quantico Base Chapel on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 am. Inurnment followed in Quantico National Cemetery. He was first in his family to graduate from High School and earn a college degree. He served in the US Army and subsequently served in the Department of Defense Civilian workforce for 20+ years. Don retired from Civil Service as a Branch Head for the US Marine Corps Operations & Systems Command.
