Evelyn Louise Crim Watts died on April 19, 2021 at the age of 100. She was born to Robert E. Crim and Willie Bell Johnson Crim in Calera, Alabama on February 1, 1921. She married Earl Franklin Watts and was married for 57 years until his death in 1994. They had three children: Sylvia Joyce Watts (Gordon), James Earl Watts (Ann), and Stephen Wayne Watts (Bethany).
They had six grandchildren: Stephanie Louise Zimmerman (Gerald), Dr. Robert Haley Shaw (Carol), Dr. Michael James Watts (Hope), Samuel Edward Watts (Tiffany), Ian Baine Watts (deceased), Micaela Ann Watts, and seven great-grandchildren: Austin Haley Shaw (Cora), Allison Nicole Shaw, Caleb Joseph Shaw, C.J. Watts, Vandy Stone, Merci Zimmerman, and Robin Watts.
She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for 79 years. She loved the Lord, her family, many friends, and was loved herself by many.
She was known by many names: Mom, Mother, Mimi, Evelyn, Sistah, Friend, 2nd Mimi, wife, and Aunt Sis.
God's Beloved Heaven has gained as she is finally home.
