Evelyn A. "Vicki" (Leone) Rosati, 92, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 31, 2023, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Peter P. Rosati for 74 years. Vicki was born on November 7, 1931 in Berlin, CT. She was kind, caring and patient and enjoyed her job at SARC where she worked as a teacher for special needs children for over 15 years. She also worked in the office at the United Way in Southington for many years. Vicki loved vacations to Cape Cod and collecting sea glass during long walks on the beach. She enjoyed gardening, trips to Disney and was a talented artist, especially skilled at drawing and painting. Vicki was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post 72 Auxiliary in Southington. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her loving family. In addition to her husband Pete, Vicki is survived by two children; daughter, Sharon Rosati-Terry and husband Lee of Uncasville and son, Peter J. Rosati and wife Holly of Plantsville, two grandchildren; Paul Rosati and wife Jocelyn of Hebron and Danielle Caruso and husband Tony, and four cherished great-grandchildren; Aria, Colbie, Luciana and AJ. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Tedesco of Southington, her beloved pup, Cosmo and many nieces and nephews. Vicki was predeceased by four siblings; Vera Carolla, Paul Leone, Carmella Cattucci and Mario Leone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. TODAY, January 5, 2024 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held before the service from 8:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
