On Monday, September 7, 2020, Eva Erna Ricketts, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at age 90. She will be missed by her children, Myriam Horvath (Louis), Ingrid Hartman (Charles), Ronald Ricketts, Karen Fischer (Bob Thomas), Susan Merchant (Terry), Sandra Makurat (Michael), and Julie Lardinois (Steven). As well as grandchildren, Michael, Ingrid, Rebecca, Hollister, Matthew, Charmaine, Asa, Amy, Grahame, Jillian, Bryce, Blake, and great grandchild, Caleb. Born in the Free City of Danzig to Hans and Erna Kuhnert. As a child she survived the Bombing of Dresden and escaped Danzig with her mother, sister (Ingrid), and brother (Jurgen) while her father was taken prisoner in a Russian Concentration Camp. After the war, she married and moved to the United States. She was employed for many years in hospital administration, as well as a library aide. She was an avid reader, loved to decorate for the holidays and most of all, loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Miller-Reesman FH, Union Grove, 262-878-2500
