Everyone called Eugenia "Mammaw". She was loved by her family dearly. Whenever one of us would visit, she wanted you to sit next to her and hold her hand. She loved to read, go shopping, work puzzles, and do word searches. She never wanted anyone to leave, saying "are you sure you don't need anything", "well let's look". You never left Mammaw's house without something, food, random items she thought you needed, something she ordered from one of her magazines, mostly things you didn't really want but you took anyway to make her happy. When you finally got into your car, she would stand on the porch and wave goodbye until you were down the street. "Mammaw" will be missed but forever in our hearts.
Memorial gathering will be on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
