Ethel H. Kelly was born on December 16th, 1919, in White Hall, South Carolina, to the proud parents, Mr. Isiah Hamilton and Mrs. Mary Manigo Hamilton. On January 2, 1938, she married the love of her life, the late Mr. Isiah Kelly. Together, they were blessed with ten wonderful children. Ethel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Deacon Isiah Kelly, Sr., and her sons, Albert (Phoebe) Kelly, Sr. and Joseph (Joanne) Kelly.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by four sons: John W. (Lula) Kelly, Isiah (the late Sarah) Kelly, Jr., Bennie L. Kelly, and Louis Kelly; four daughters: Ethel Mae (Earnest Sr.) Bryant, Ruth M. Kelly, Dorothy L. Kelly, and Luretta (Coy, Sr) Lacy; 20 grandchildren;
28 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rachel Goodwin, and Rebecca Smalls; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Home Gong Service will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Wake Service will take place on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at: www.lowcountrymortuary.com.
