Ermalyn E. Gistelli, born to Theresa and Merlin Pedrotti on July 30, 1935, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 18, 2021 at home in Sonoma, California.
She was raised in Crockett, California and lived there until 1974, eventually settling into retirement in Sonoma.
Ermalyn leaves behind Richard, her devoted husband and life partner of 66 years, her children David, Janelle and Richard, grandchildren Scott, Holland, Kyle and Anna, step-grandchildren Adrian and Mallory, nieces Kate and Peg and nephew Tom. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gene and her sister Mary.
Ermalyn had a passion for cooking and especially loved having a crowd to cook for during the holidays. An avid reader, she would often have 3 to 4 books going at the same time. Known for her strong opinions and convictions, she also respected those of others. Ermalyn and Richard loved to travel, especially to Italy.
In order to honor her last wishes, there will be no public service. The family will gather privately to celebrate her cherished and wonderful life.
